Cookie Policy

Last updated September 16, 2026. This policy lists the cookies flowmusic.lol uses, what each one does and how to control them.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a site stores in your browser. They let a site remember you between page loads - keeping you signed in, remembering a preference, or completing a checkout.

Flow Music also uses similar browser storage for a few settings. This policy covers both, and applies to flowmusic.lol.

2. Cookies we set

These are required for the site to work. They cannot be turned off from a banner because nothing would function without them.

  • Sign-in session: identifies your account for the duration of a visit and keeps you signed in between visits.
  • Language and theme preference: remembers the language and appearance you chose.
  • Security tokens: short-lived values that protect sign-in and form submissions against cross-site request forgery.
  • UTM capture: stores the campaign that brought you to the site so a subscription can be attributed correctly.

3. Third-party cookies

Payments are processed by Stripe, which sets its own cookies during checkout to detect fraud and complete the payment. Stripe is the controller of that data; see the Stripe privacy policy for details.

Google Analytics sets cookies that measure aggregate traffic: page views, session length, approximate location and the device you used. It does not receive your lyrics, your briefs or your renders.

4. Analytics and what it measures

We use Google Analytics to understand which pages and features help people finish a song, and where people get stuck. Reports are reviewed in aggregate; we do not use analytics to build advertising profiles and we do not sell personal data.

  • Page views and navigation paths through the site.
  • Interaction events such as opening the studio, starting a render or reaching the pricing page.
  • Approximate location derived from IP address, plus browser and device type.

5. Controlling cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and most browsers let you block third-party cookies only. Analytics cookies can also be blocked with a browser extension or by enabling your browser’s tracking-protection mode.

Blocking the sign-in session cookie will sign you out, and blocking Stripe cookies will stop checkout from completing. Everything else on the site keeps working with cookies blocked.

6. Retention

The sign-in session lasts until it expires or you sign out. Preference cookies persist until you clear them. Analytics cookies expire according to the settings of the Google Analytics property that set them, and never longer than twenty-six months.

7. Changes and contact

If the cookies we use change, this page is updated and the date at the top changes with it.
